Original Design Matters was founded by Architect Tom Doling. ​
We are a friendly and passionate company with a collaborative client-centred approach, and pride ourselves on our ability to listen, respond and discuss ideas to reach imaginative and thoughtful solutions. Appointing us for your project, you will have our full attention and complete focus.
Tom leads each project and will be your day to day contact throughout.

He is a fully qualified Architect and Interior Designer with over 20 years experience in the industry. Prior to creating ODM, Tom worked for a number of award winning Architectural Practices in Birmingham. Over the years he has built a reputation for consistently delivering creative, thoughtful design and building long lasting relationships with clients.
Tom has extensive experience working on projects in the residential, community, education and commercial sectors. He is passionate about the re-use and adaptation of existing buildings, and particularly adept at refurbishment and extension projects, including listed buildings.
